There will be a lot of celebrating in Mesa this weekend as grocery shoppers can get their first look at two newly-remodeled Bashas’ supermarkets tomorrow. The two Mesa grocery stores – located at the southwest corner of Higley and Brown roads, and the southeast corner of Ellsworth and Brown roads – will open their doors at 6 a.m. June 10.
When the celebrations kick off, customers will not only be able to experience the new store layouts, but they’ll also get a chance to take in new pharmacies, new Starbucks venues, and fresh sushi bars with chefs assembling fresh rolls at both locations.
In addition, each location also has new amenities to better serve the needs of neighborhood shoppers, who will have plenty of food samples and deals to enjoy during the grand re-opening weekend.
The Bashas’ supermarket at 1122 N. Higley Road will now have a cooler dedicated to craft beer, along with a hot soup bar. The store will also feature a full-service floral shop. The first 100 shoppers who make a purchase at this store on Saturday and Sunday will receive a reusable grocery bag with goodies inside.
The Bashas’ supermarket the 1133 N. Ellsworth Road will now have warm breakfast sandwiches at its remodeled in-store Starbucks, a significantly-expanded bulk food selection and floral shop, as well as a new ice cream scooping station, just in time for summer. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Boar’s Head will give away free hotdogs, while supplies last.
