Treat mom to a day creating art and building memories at the i.d.e.a. Museum in Mesa on Mother’s Day. This Sunday, May 14, mothers receive free admission in recognition of all they do. Regular admission is $8 for ages 1 and up; free for members.
Experience cool art and hands-on activities in ArtVille, the HUB Gallery and current exhibition Caped Crusaders & Everyday Heroes.
“Our museum moms tell us how important it is for them to spend quality time with their children, discovering art and nurturing creative thinking,” said Yvette Armendariz, marketing and public relations director of the i.d.e.a. Museum. “They love spending time engaged and actively participating in the hands-on activities with their children. It just makes sense to offer free admission to mothers in recognition of all they do for their families. That’s why we’ve been offering free admission for moms on Mother’s Day for some time. It’s just so wonderful seeing children treat their moms to a day at the museum on Mother’s Day.
“Similarly, we’ll be doing free admission for dads on Father’s Day. They’ll be able to see the upcoming summer exhibition, My Favorite Monster,” Armendariz added.
