Bashas’ will be celebrating the grand re-opening of its newly-remodeled grocery store in Mesa tomorrow, July 13, by giving out free bags of groceries to customers, and introducing a new ice cream shop and sushi bar.
Shoppers are in for a treat when they visit the remodeled Bashas’ at the northwest corner of North Power and East McDowell roads as the celebration kicks off at 6 a.m. on Wednesday. Customers will get a first look at not only the new layout and expanded offerings, but also will have the chance to shop for grocery deals and enjoy plenty of food samples. The first 200 shoppers who spend $50 or more at the store on Wednesday will receive a free bag of groceries. Food demonstrations and samples will take place at the supermarket through Saturday, July 16.
New amenities at the Mesa location include:
- One-stop ice cream shop in the Bakery Department, where shoppers will be able to enjoy creamy cool treats by the scoop – just in time for National Ice Cream Day on July 17.
- Sushi Bar by the deli, which will have chefs assembling fresh rolls, available to grab-and-go.
- -Expanded Natural Choice area with a wider selection of better-for-you foods from which to choose.
In addition to all the festivities and things to see in-store, the party atmosphere will continue outside of the store, as Villa Roma Sausage Grill will offer $1 brat and soda deals from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Wednesday, July 13, and Saturday, July 16.
The remodeled Bashas’ Supermarket is located at 2864 N. Power Road.
