AT&T recently upgraded 15 cell towers on its 4G LTE network in Mesa to give residents faster, more reliable wireless service.

The change will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices, according to local AT&T officials. With 4G LTE service, they’ll see better service when watching videos, posting to social media or texting family and friends.
“We want our Mesa customers to have a great experience. They’ll be able to download, upload, stream and play games faster than ever before on our 4G LTE network,” said Jerry Fuentes, president of AT&T Arizona and New Mexico. “We’re always working to provide better coverage. And we’re investing in our wireless network to accomplish that.”
AT&T has invested nearly $350 million in its Phoenix area wireless (its regional office is located in Mesa) and wired networks during 2013-2015. These investments drive a wide range of upgrades to reliability, coverage, speed and overall performance for residents and businesses. They also enhance critical services that support public safety and first responders.
AT&T officials say the company constantly invests in its network to give customers the high-quality services they need to stay connected. This helps Mesa residents get the best possible experience over the AT&T network, whether at home, at work or on the go.
