Donate books, magazines, movies, and music without even leaving your car this Saturday. Mesa Library volunteers will be on hand at the Main and Red Mountain branches to help unload your donations Dec. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon.
Donated materials are sorted and sold through the library’s used book store. One-hundred-percent of the proceeds from used book sales stay in the library to support programs and services.
“It gives unwanted materials like books, magazines and DVDs a new life,” Mesa Library Director Heather Wolf said. “What you may have enjoyed once can now bring joy to another person. Plus, the sale of these donated items helps fund many of our programs here at the Mesa Library.”
If you can’t make it to the book drive donation event, visit any of these four branches during regular library hours.
