The Cactus Fire in the Tonto National Forest in east Mesa along the Salt River has been fully contained, officials said. They continue cleaning up certain areas after the brush fire engulfed 818 acres.
Wild horses in the area are all OK and one even gave birth during the brush fire that started a week ago. No Mesa homes or structures were damaged.
