Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Mesa unveiled a new colorful and child-friendly treatment room Jan. 17, designed to complete invasive procedures on patients outside of their room in a comfortable setting. The fun, jungle-themed room minimizes stress through 3-D wall images. Nurses and caretakers also have the ability to distract patients through i-Spy games and interact with patients while they are waiting for a procedure to begin.

The room was built in partnership with Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children and Enterprise Rent-A-Car.
