Celebrate Mesa, a free party in the park, will be this Saturday, Oct. 15 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Red Mountain Soccer Complex, 905 N. Sun Valley Blvd.
There will be performances by Island Magic Music, an African drumming band, and returning guest Rich Ihle with Reptile Adventures. Ihle will bring back his special reptile friends including Teresa, a 17-foot python. You won’t want to miss out on all the fun!
Families are encouraged to dress up, grab a special treat at the entrance, go trick-or-treating at all the city department booths and check out the police and fire vehicles and the “haunted bus.” Free raffle prizes and give-a-ways will also be available plus, a free movie showing of “Hotel Transylvania” at 8 p.m.
Admission and parking are free. Plenty of free rides and activities can be found in the Kidzone and Tot Spot. Children can also purchase $5 wristbands that give them unlimited ride access to signature rides such as: Fly Wire Zip line, Uproar, Whizzer and Wipeout Baller.
