With the graduation of its first class of Arizona students just weeks away, The College of St. Scholastica will host a job preparation workshop geared toward social work students.
The Social Work Career Prep Day will be from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29 in Room LB 300 at Mesa Community College, 1833 W. Southern Ave. Participating students interested in finding employment in the social work field will:
- Learn how to tailor their resume/cover letter for social work jobs.
- Work on interview skills.
- Learn about tips to increase job application confidence.
- Hear from social work professionals about what they are looking for in job applicants.
- Hear a panel discussion of social work professionals.
