Daniel Tiger, Pokémon, mad scientist demos at i.d.e.a. Museum in Mesa

The i.d.e.a. Museum presents special activities, entertainment and appearances – including PBS Kids’ star Daniel Tiger – during Family Day. The all-day event on July 22 focuses on fun family time centered around the museum’s current exhibition, “My Favorite Monster.”

From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 22 see featured activities:

  • Photo opportunity with Daniel Tiger (9 a.m.–1 p.m.)
  • Pokémon hunting (dropping lures throughout the day)
  • Mad Scientist demonstrations
  • Mesa Recycles picture frame activity
  • Monster Sense Lab & Monster Headbands
  • Meet the experts from Arizona Museum of Natural History
  • Visit from United Zombies of America
  • Meet the Artists: Scott McNeill, Janine Doto and Michelle Meyer

All activities are included with museum admission, which is $9 for ages 1 and up; free for members. Memberships start at $55.

The i.d.e.a. Museum is located at 150 W. Pepper Place in downtown Mesa.
