Individuals, families and groups of all sizes are invited to start their Easter celebration a little early by packing meals with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) March 30-31 at its Mesa facility.
At these “Fully Invested” Easter sessions, volunteers invest their time and make a donation of $50 per volunteer or $150 per household to feed the world’s hungry. Normally, FMSC does not require a donation, but for these sessions each volunteer commits to funding a box of 216 MannaPack meals at $50. One box of nourishing FMSC meals feeds a child for seven months.
During an FMSC meal packing session, adults and children 5 years and older hand-assemble MannaPack meals consisting of rice, soy nuggets, dehydrated vegetables and flavoring with 20 vitamins and minerals. This is a fun, team-building activity for families and groups to do together, all while feeding the hungry across the globe.
The following sessions are offered for the Easter season at Feed My Starving Children:
- Good Friday, March 30: 9-11 a.m.
- Holy Saturday, March 31: 9-11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
