Friend of the Week: Handsome CK is very affectionate, happy

Meet CK. (Friends for Life Animal Rescue)

CK is a very handsome domestic short-haired brown tabby cat, about 5 years old. He had been living on his own for nearly a year before finding his way to a rescue organization.

Friends for Life volunteers at the rescue’s adoption center say CK is a super affectionate kitty. He seems very happy now that he is inside and receives love and food, whereas before he hadn’t anyone caring for him out on his own.

CK has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency virus – it certainly doesn’t mean he can’t be adopted into a loving home – for more information on the virus, visit: http://pets.webmd.com/cats/cat-fiv-feline-immunodeficiency-virus#1). He has had a full vet check up and is a very healthy cat. CK is neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $85.

If interested in CK, contact Friends for Life Animal Rescue, located in downtown Gilbert at 143 W. Vaughn Ave., at FFLcats@azfriends.org, 480-497-8296, or visit www.azfriends.org.
