Mountain View, powered by a redemption game by Jacobby Dinwiddie, topped Westwood 42-14 on Friday in East Valley Region action.

A week after missing a game because of “coach’s decision” Dinwiddie had two touchdown catches, including a 97-yarder and more than 200 yards receiving on the night.

The Toros improved to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in region play, while Westwood fell to 4-5 and 1-3.

Mountain View quarterback Brandon Nunez had four touchdown passes as he also connected with Dax Hodges in the third quarter to go up 35-14.

Jeremiah Hollen and Devin Waite added rushing touchdowns.

The Warriors were within 21-14 in the second quarter, but the Toros’ passing game was too much.
