Goodwill of Central Arizona is set to open a new store in Mesa tomorrow, Dec. 16 at 9 a.m. The brand new 21,500-square-foot store is located at 2665 N. Power Road. The first 150 people in line outside the stores will receive a $5 gift card good towards their next purchase at any Goodwill location.

“We’re thrilled to be joining the northeast Mesa community,” said Courtney Nelson, vice president of marketing and communications for Goodwill of Central Arizona. “Our research indicates a strong interest in Goodwill here and we look forward to providing a convenient shopping and donating location. We hope many northeast Mesa residents come out to the grand opening. There are always a plethora of treasures to be found at Goodwill.”

When you donate or shop at Goodwill, you help people in our community get the job preparation they need to support themselves and their families, she added. Goodwill offers 19 no-cost career centers assisting thousands of Arizonans in their quest for meaningful employment.

“With each new store opening we hire 30 to 40 individuals,” said Nelson. “We need donation attendants, sales associates and retail merchandise processors. We’re always looking for good people, so if you’d like to explore opportunities with Goodwill, please visit our website to apply.”
