LGE Design Build lands former Colliers-International vice president as firm’s director of real estate

Danny Plapp

LGE Design Build (a firm that does a lot of work in Mesa) has announced the recent hire of Danny Plapp, who takes on the role of director of real estate at the award-winning, Arizona-based design-build company.

Plapp joins the team after a five-year stint as the associate vice president of Colliers International, where he was nominated for a 2015 Emerging Broker of the Year award from NAIOP, a national trade organization for real estate developers, owners and investors, and served as a Broker Advisory Board member in 2013. Prior to his time at Colliers, Plapp was an associate at LevRose Commercial Real Estate and a sales and leasing professional with Tucson’s PICOR Commercial Real Estate Services.

Now, the Arizona native is poised to take his broad knowledge of the commercial real estate industry with him as he makes the jump from broker to developer, where he will help build and create new properties as opposed to renting and selling them.

“After meeting Danny and seeing his passion for design and construction, it was clear to me that he was perfect for the position,” said David Sellers, president and CEO of LGE Design Build. “His vision, prior relationships from the commercial brokerage industry and work ethic will ensure his success here at LGE.”

Plapp’s duties as director of real estate at LGE Design Build include developing new business, fostering existing business relationships, assisting clients through the construction process and expanding the brand’s presence in the Valley. For more about LGE Design Build, visit LGEDesignBuild.com.
