Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation has launched the Make March Meaningful campaign. Through March 31, local businesses and the community at large will help raise money for The Hope Fund—the most flexible and valuable way donors can support Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
The Hope Fund allows Phoenix Children’s Hospital to launch critical new programs, purchase essential equipment, conduct cutting-edge research, provide charitable care and much more.
“We are so excited to launch this Make March Meaningful campaign because it is not only another way for donors to get involved, but it also allows us to keep growing all of our programs that are saving the lives of these incredible children,” said Steve Schnall, senior vice president and chief development officer of Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Many donors of Phoenix Children’s Hospital can choose to support specific programs and services that meet their areas of interest and personal goals, and these gifts are valuable and essential to the hospital’s mission. However, the power of unrestricted giving through The Hope Fund is immeasurable because it ensures that support is available where and when it is needed most so Phoenix Children’s Hospital can continue to enhance the care provided to patients.
Multiple businesses in Metro Phoenix have offered promotions and hosted events throughout the month that will benefit the Make March Meaningful campaign.
Individuals interested in helping beyond the month of March can also become a Hero for Hope, which is a more personalized way of donating.
Heroes for Hope are individuals who make a pledge to Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation of $20 per month or more for a year or a single gift of $240 or more. Becoming a Hero for Hope means that a patient at Phoenix Children’s Hospital will receive a Superhero sidekick stuffed animal in the donor’s name. This gift will not only brighten a child’s day, but it will also help more kids receive the life-saving medical care they need.
