MCC alumna recognized for excellence in interior design

Sujaya Reddy

Mesa Community College alumna Sujaya Reddy, owner of 7 Dimensions LLC in Ahwatukee, was recognized by the American Society of Interior Designers Arizona North Chapter with a first-place Design Excellence Award for in the Emerging Professional category.

Reddy’s submission transformed a tired, compartmentalized 1990s residential floorplan into a free-flowing, contemporary living space. The modified space incorporated sleek white cabinetry and shiny black granite countertops contrasted with tumbled marble flooring and warm, honey-colored wood flooring.

“It is an honor to be recognized by the distinguished international group of interior designers who judged the entries for this year’s awards,” said Reddy. “I look forward to helping others improve their living spaces to better match their lifestyles, delivering functionality with an unexpected twist.”

ASID Design Excellence Awards Contest is the Valley’s preeminent annual design competition that highlights the exceptional talent of interior design industry leaders across Arizona.
