Make no mistake – this is an important time for people with Medicare. The 2018 Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan Annual Enrollment Period – or AEP – goes through Dec. 7.

For those who have Medicare (or are caring for someone who does), this is an important time to explore what’s available for 2018. Individuals may use this time to choose a Medicare Advantage and/or Medicare Part D option for the first time or explore a new plan that may better meet their health care needs. Those selecting a plan during AEP will be able to start using the plan’s benefits Jan. 1, 2018.

Humana is hosting a series of neighborhood Medicare Information and Enrollment Seminars in November and December to inform people about upcoming changes and updates to Medicare Advantage and Medicare Part D for 2018. The free and open to the community seminars will be at the Humana Neighborhood location at 5943 E. McKellips Road, Suite 106, in Mesa:

  • Nov. 1, 8, 15, 22 and Dec. 6, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
  • Nov. 29, 2-4 p.m.
  • Nov. 11, 18 and 25, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
  • Spanish Seminars: Nov. 15, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and Dec. 2, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Licensed sales agents will be at these events to provide free, no obligation advice and help people choose a Humana Medicare plan that meets their health care needs and their budget. For information about these upcoming seminars, or to schedule a personal one-on-one appointment, call the local Humana sales office at 602-760-1700, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
