Mesa PD: DUI St. Patrick’s Task Force weekend

The Mesa Police Department (MPD) is out conducting DUI enforcement this weekend. The MPD traffic unit, as always, will continue its support of the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) DUI St. Patrick’s Task Force through March 17. Emphasized hours will be from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Annual Task Force is local police enforcement promoting a mission; remove impaired drivers off the roadway and create safer streets throughout the Valley. Additionally, reduce the number of vehicle collisions related to impaired driving; as well as, decrease the number of injuries and fatalities associated with these collisions.

The Mesa Police Department encourages everyone to enjoy the holiday responsibly and designate a driver.
