Mesa PD St. Patrick’s Task Force

The Mesa Police Department (MPD) is out conducting DUI enforcement, beginning tonight. The MPD traffic unit, as always, will continue its support of the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) DUI St. Patrick’s Task Force beginning tonight, March 16, until Saturday, March 18.

Annual Task Force is local police enforcement promoting a mission; remove impaired drivers off the roadway and create safer streets throughout the Valley. Additionally, reduce the number of vehicle collisions related to impaired driving; as well as, decrease the number of injuries and fatalities associated with these collisions.

The Mesa Police Department encourages everyone to enjoy the holiday responsibly and designate a driver. They ask for residents to report reckless, unsafe or suspected DUI driving to the Mesa Police Department non–emergency line, 480-644-2211.
