Eastmark opened in 2013 and has continued to attract buyers from the East Valley, selling more than 500 homes in 2016. This year, Eastmark plans to add seven new neighborhoods and three new builders to the community for a total of 12 local and national homebuilders and 20 active neighborhoods in 2017.

Eastmark was the top selling master-planned community in Arizona for the second year in a row and is the only community in Arizona to break the top 15 in the national rankings. See the final rankings at: http://www.rclco.com/advisory-mpc-survey-2016-year-end-2017-01-04.

“Eastmark continues to sell incredibly well in Phoenix’s East Valley marketplace, where the economy and new growth are strong. The East Valley’s reputation and quality of life attracts both businesses and families into this area, making it one of the hottest real estate markets in the region,” said Dea McDonald, general manager for Eastmark and senior vice president of DMB. “Thanks to strong resident referrals and the engaging lifestyle at Eastmark, our sales have made us number one in Arizona again this year and kept us in the top 15 nationally. This year we will be adding several new neighborhoods, welcoming new builders and new commercial users to Eastmark, fulfilling our long-term vision for a vibrant mixed use destination.”

The nearly 5-square-mile community has more than 3,000 residents. Located in a tech and employment corridor with technology, aviation, health care and education as the region’s growing employment sectors, Eastmark’s leaders work alongside Southeast Valley leaders to draw high-profile employers to the area. DMB was instrumental in helping attract Apple’s Global Command Center to Eastmark in 2015. Eastmark is located at the center of a major transportation hub anchored by the growing Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and three nearby major freeways.

“Strong sales at Eastmark have allowed us to accelerate several of the major amenities here, growing our parks and community life offerings to create a vibrant connected community. This year, Eastmark will debut new lifestyle offerings just off the Eastmark Great Park where homeowners will be more connected to the central park of the community, schools and The ‘Mark where so many activities take place. These neighborhoods will add to the diversity in housing options and add new community open spaces to enjoy,” McDonald said.
