There are a lot of things to learn when you become a parent and the doctors at Mesa’s Mountain Vista Medical Center are always willing to help.
Medical officials often say, “Yes, there’s a class for that!” So tomorrow they are going to tackle the potty training problem many parents struggle with and show them that they are not alone in the inevitable battle.
“Potty training can be frustrating for children, and an especially trying experience for even the most patient parent,” said Craig Lowthorp, D.O., a father of two and a family medicine resident at Mountain Vista Medical Center. “There are many effective strategies parents can use to potty train their child quickly.”
He said potty training can be tricky, depending on the child. So Lowthorp will offer parents free tried and true tips to make the transition for them and their little one easier tomorrow, Sept. 7, from 6 to 7 p.m. at Mountain Vista Medical Center, 1301 S. Crismon Road in Mesa.
Staff asks that those attending park and enter through the Outpatient Entrance of the hospital, which is located on the east side of the hospital. Proceed to the second floor and go through the double doors to the classrooms.
