MyNewsMesa.com ribbon cutting/open house Aug. 2

It’s finally here, MyNewsMesa.com is opening its physical office in downtown Mesa Aug. 2 at 165 N. Centennial Way, Suite 201. Come out and see the wonderful new spacious office and covered parking structure. As part of acquiring this new facility, we are proud to partner with Mesa Community College to support its journalism program by forming an internship program for MCC students to work with seasoned media professionals at MyNewsMesa.

A ribbon cutting will commence around 8:30 a.m. with light refreshments and food following until 10 a.m. We invite the public to tour the new MyNewsMesa office space, speak with staff and learn more about the city’s newest source for all things Mesa.

About MyNewsMesa

MyNewsMesa is an online community news organization unilaterally focused on news and information about Mesa, its people, happenings and businesses. Founded by a group of journalists and former media professionals with an unwavering desire to provide objective news and information to the community we serve. We serve the citizens of Mesa and those in any way connected to Mesa. We are driven by a deeply-held belief that news organizations – especially now – serve their community best when they are involved in and connected to it. As a news source, that requires us to break from either tradition or current trends in some very fundamental ways that we think you may appreciate.

At the same time the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and Mesa Veterans Resource Center will be hosting their own ribbon cuttings and open houses. Related story: https://mynewsmesa.com/mesa-chamber-commerce-moved-grand-opening-aug-2/.
