“You Can Make a Difference” is the theme of a neighborhood forum sponsored by West Mesa Community Development Corporation (WMCDC) in partnership with the city of Mesa. The event is tomorrow, April 27, at 6 p.m. at Living Word Bible Church, 3520 E. Brown Road.
“The Neighborhood forum is an opportunity for Mesa residents to have in-person conversations on how to make a difference in their neighborhood with other residents as well as decision makers,” said WMCDC Executive Director Cynthia Dunham. “This dialogue is critical for us to learn from each other and be able to connect to ideas and opportunities that can help us all.”
After welcoming remarks from Vice Mayor David Luna and the Mesa Neighborhood Outreach staff, there will be strategic tabletop discussions for community members led by several city of Mesa councilmembers. The discussions will focus on making a difference in your neighborhood, leadership styles, neighborhood communication and planning neighborhood events. That will be followed by the sharing of ideas and survey results.
