Red Mountain High School freshman and Pinnacle yearbook editor Amanda Adams was selected to have her photo of Red Mountain High School showcased in Mesa Public School’s third-floor lobby administrative building gallery wall as part of the August “What’s your focus?” photography contest sponsored by the Communications and Marketing Department.

Students were encouraged to be as creative as they wished to capture their building in its best light, said Mesa School District officials.

“I’m not a bit surprised by the news,” Pinnacle Yearbook Adviser Jan Saquella said. “Amanda is an exemplary student, and we are so fortunate that she is a part of our team.”

Back in August, the Communications and Marketing Department was on the lookout for beautiful images of Mesa high school buildings. Only one photo from each of the six high schools was selected to be showcased in the administrative building gallery wall.
