Deseo at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa
This AAA Four Diamond restaurant is hosting a four-course menu for any Latin food lovers. Entrée options include the “duo de pato,” a coriander-spiced duck breast with a confit empanada, the “mishima reserve ultra New York steak,” or the Maine lobster tail poached in orange butter with white asparagus. And, for dessert, guests may choose from a Mayan chocolate pots de crème served with vanilla crema and mole tuile or the “Oasis en el Sol,” a masterpiece of “drunk pineapple” with honeycomb, tropical gelée and a lemongrass foam. Dinner is $75 per person, wine pairings are available for an additional $25 per person, and reservations can be made at 480-624-1202.
Artizen, Crafted American Kitchen & Bar at The Camby
Enjoy a four-course menu crafted with local ingredients to bring outstanding flavor and individuality to each dish from this restaurant nestled in the AAA Four Diamond hotspot, The Camby. Entrée options include choice of roasted branzino with charred octopus, filet of beef “rossini” with foie torchon or caramelized fennel risotto with pink grapefruit, gremolata and Meyer lemon extra virgin olive oil. Available from 5 to 9 p.m. Cost is $65 for adults and reservations can be made at 602-468-0700.
Lon’s at Hermosa Inn
Treat your sweetheart to the four-course, Sweetheart’s Tasting Menu at the AAA Four Diamond restaurant. Delectable options include Pacific Oyster Shooters with Meyer Lemon & American Caviar, Kauai Shrimp Ceviche and Hamachi Tartar with Coconut-Yuzu Dressing & Jalapeño Relish. The Sweethearts Tasting Menu will be offered through Feb. 14. The regular a la carte menu will also be available. Dinner is $75 per person. Proof, an American Canteen
Looking for a laid back Valentine’s Day? Head to AAA Four Diamond Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North and enjoy a relaxing evening at Proof. The lovely entrée special features Kansas City New York strip steak, with smoked moody blue fondue, confit baby red potatoes and charred Cipollini onions. All items are available à la carte.
