Get ready for a spooktacular time at Downtown Mesa’s fifth annual Trick or Treat Main Street on Monday, Oct. 31, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“The event started five years ago by the executive director of the Downtown Mesa Association, David Short,” said Courtney Garrity, marketing coordinator for the Downtown Mesa Association. “He wanted to bring the community together for a fun and safe Halloween experience.”
The free Trick or Treat Main Street is that fun and safe family event where kids will get to trick or treat at more than 35 downtown Mesa businesses.
Bring the little ghouls and goblins to the southeast corner of Center and Main Street by the Mesa Arts Center to pick up goodies and a map of participating businesses.
“Then head down Main Street to stop at all the downtown businesses for a candy or treat surprise! Participating businesses will have an indicator near the entrance of their store,” Garrity said. “Children can also enjoy face painting, balloon artist and a photo booth!
“This free event is great for families with younger kids, although all ages are welcome,” she continued. “We have an early timeframe for this event so the younger children have a fun and safe alternative to evening trick or treating.”
Trick or Treat Main Street is sponsored by the Downtown Mesa Association and Downtown Mesa merchants.
